It is true and happens most often that I do not find people to talk about the shows I have liked and watched on Netflix, Prime, Hulu or HBO. I never feel like watching the shows people usually talk about, you know the usuals — stranger things, Narcos and black mirror and such, I dunno if they are all the same even.
Usually, I watch a great show and I try to talk about it with people around me and they never seem to understand why I am thrilled about it. And if I like a show very very much, I rarely share it with other people, because I am always so scared they won’t get it and that will hurt me. But of late, I have been thinking that all these great shows deserve to be spoken about and shared.

I may have the privilege and the resources to lead most of my life in safety, but there have many instances that have made me go numb and feel unsafe – within locked Uber cars, in crowded markets, during solo trips and many such more. Four months of training may not make a warrior princess, but it definitely gives me the confidence and the techniques to kick the hell out of an assaulter. Krav Maga teaches me that the moment you get attacked, you are NOT THE VICTIM, you are THE ATTACKER. It trains you not to allow yourself to become the victim. The instant you are attacked, you attack back — more aggressively — because your job is to protect yourself and get out of that situation.
